Review

Solitaire is an amazing novel. It’s about a girl has her life turned around when she gets sentenced (unfairly?) to eight years in solitary confinement. Only the twist is that it only feels like eight years. Itn reality she’ll be sedated and hooked up to a virtual reality machine for 8 months. Most of the book is about here life after the “treatment”.

This is another book that pulled me into the characters and the yanked my heart out about a third of the way through it. But unlike The Golden Compass it ended on a high note. I really got into this book and recommend it highly.
